  Do you have a bucket list?

  i am nearly 40 years old and have started a bucket list of things i would like to do before i die.. .

  one of them being spending 6months away from my mobile and laptop in a tiny village away from the uk.. .

  Yes,

  I have a special 'backcall', 'return-visit' to the Uffizi Gallery. The lights went out while I entered the Botticelli room. I did not get to finish it, or see The Birth Of Venus. No refund either. Bastardos! [oh, did I say that? ]

  I'd love to go to New Zealand or Kauai, HA and camp on the beaches

  But, really I want to see what my grandchildren acomplish. I have one who loves music and plays by ear. One who is good at sports. One who is a natural artist. One who is very young and is good at giving big hugs and besos.

  i try to keep my hands clean regularly and stay away from areas and people that i know are sick.. i have never gotten a flu shot and i do know that many that do get one, get the flu anyway.. still, the flu is considered very very bad this year..

  I know it doesnt prevent the 'flu' .

  It's just what I have around if I get sick or have flu symptoms.

  JGnat, I understand it's the same flu shot in every state. But why is California not a red state on the graph?

  Plus we have so many 'new ' residents, and also some have a sort of suspision of the Medical establishment. [granola nuts .smile]

  I know there isnt a real answer, I just find it interesting. I do wonder what you make of all this ? As you are more informed than I am.

  No, I pass on the flu jab.

  I have an assortmant of colidal silver, vitamin C, garlic, etc. A dead chicken for soup. Or a pick up of Hot and Sour Soup. I do wash my hands often and have learned to not touch my face when in public.

  I have never had a bad flu. Just a 3 day cold.

  Those getting this "super Flu" may think this is a mistake.

  From what I have read, as stated above. Flu Jabs are selected and may not have the correct strain of viruses in it. Makes me wonder about all the red infected staes. Did it work!?

  To add to Shirley's fine suggestions. Clove oil is also very effective.

  Would Elders You Knew Have Ordered Stonings If They Could Have?

  for those of you who used to be jws, or who are active, if the society was in charge of the earth, how many people do you think you would have seen stoned during your lifetimes?

  i realize some elders can be zealous about their work, but if they'd actually had administrative authority to have kh members stoned to death, how many elders did you know who would have been zealous enough to really order them?.

  did you know any elders who would have ordered stonings, even if the condemned people had been willing to repent?.

  Anyone Else See Les Miserables?

  i went to see it today - by myself (mr bee is on a golf junket).

  i was glad that that i was by myself because i cried so much at the end, i wouldn't have wanted to be with anyone who wasn't crying - and that would not have been mr bee!.

  les miserables the current film is adapted from what is considered one of the half-dozen greatest novels of the past 150 years and one of the longest novels ever written.

  Well, I may go see this movie that is bringing men to tears. Getting a Golden Globe Award too.

  I saw the Fredric March/Charles Laughten (both personal favorites) version this morning . It was a drama.

  It's time to see a musical versain of a favorite novel.

  i have had to make some very difficult decisions in recent days.

  in one way i feel good about takeing care of myself and my mother who is on her dead bed in the room next to me.

  mom has live with me since 2005 and started to make her journey to the other side on christmas day.

  I've been there too Roberta.

  Music helped hide the sound of the oxegen machine. MY loved one's favorite place was Hawaii, he loved the music. So that is what brought him a smile . That and a dab of orange oil on a moist cloth. Orange oil brings a smile. It's the Happy Oil.

  It may feel she is delusional or nonresponsive, it's hard to know for sure. Holding hands and reminising about funny, happy memories will do you good and I belive your Mother too.
